Crockpot Irish Oatmeal Recipe

For those of us who want steel cut oats without having to stand over the stove.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 apple, peeled, cored, chopped
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cream (i use 2% milk)
  • 2 tablespoons Irish whiskey (don't have it so i leave it out)

Instructions
 

  • Mix all ingredients in crock pot.
  • Cook on low for 8 hours.
